On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at approximately 1:09 a.m., police responded to a call for a Shooting in the Winona Drive and Vaughan Road area.
It is reported that:
- officers arrived on scene and located two victims, a man and a woman
- the woman was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
- the man was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries
- the man succumbed to his injuries in hospital
- the suspect(s) fled in a vehicle
The victim has been identified as Trevor John, 31, of Toronto.
