On Monday, September 8, 2014, at about 5:19 p.m., police responded to a stabbing in the area of Danforth Avenue and Dawes Road. The victim was discovered near 2844 Danforth Avenue, suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. Another person was also discovered at the same location, suffering from stab wounds. This person was treated by emergency personnel, and is expected to survive his injuries.
