On Monday, August 10, 2009 at about 10:51 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the area of 55 Sultan Pool Drive. The victim was discovered on the road, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe that the victim may have been arguing with several people near Melody Valley Junior School; the victim was on his bicycle, followed by three or more people in a vehicle.
