UPDATE: February 13, 1998 A Canada-Wide Warrant for Second Degree Murder was issued for John McCOGG, 26 yrs, in this case.
On Monday, February 9, 1998, at about 11:34 p.m., police responded to a 911 call at 3351 Ellesmere Road. The victim was discovered inside the Pool Time Dining Lounge, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. Another person was also discovered at the Scarborough Centenary Hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds previously received at Pool Time Dining Lounge. This person was treated by emergency personnel, and is expected to survive his injuries.
