Toronto Police Service Homicide is comprised of a very dedicated group of men and women who are extremely committed to conducting quality investigations, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
Details of Investigation
On Friday, January, 29, 2021 at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a radio call for a shooting in the Mathersfield Drive area. It is reported when police arrived they located a 23-year-old man, and a 27-year-old woman suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. CPR was performed on the man, however he succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced deceased on scene. The woman was taken to a trauma hospital by paramedics in life-threatening condition. Witnesses reported seeing a smaller light-coloured, possibly grey or silver, 4 door sedan with dark tinted windows seen leaving the area in a northbound direction on Yonge Street at a high rate of speed.
