On Friday, March 31, 2000, at about 2:20 a.m., police responded to a traffic accident call in the area of Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue W. The victim was discovered on the street, suffering from blunt trauma. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
