Toronto Police Service Homicide is comprised of a very dedicated group of men and women who are extremely committed to conducting quality investigations, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
Details of Investigation
On Sunday, February 1, 2009, at about 7:48 a.m., police responded to an emergency call at the Humber River Regional Hospital (Church Site). The victim was discovered inside the hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds previously received at 1762 Weston Road. The victim was transported to another hospital by emergency personnel, where he died shortly after arrival. Another person was also discovered at the same Humber hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds previously received at 1762 Weston Road. This person was treated by emergency personnel, and is expected to survive his injuries.
