Details of Investigation
On Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 1:50 a.m., police responded to a call for a Shooting in the Weston Road and Steeles Avenue West area.
It is reported that:
- several gun shots were heard in the area
- a victim was located with a gun shot wound
- the victim was transported to hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced deceased
- a second victim, a 21-year-old man, was later located at a local hospital
- the man suffered a gun shot wound and received a ride to the hospital
- the victim's injuries are non-life-threatening
The deceased has been identified as Kevon Wilson, 26, of Toronto.
