Details of Investigation
On Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 3:42 a.m., officers responded to a call for an unknown trouble in the 311 Washburn Way area. Officers arrived to find a man who had crashed into a building. He was suffering from serious injuries and was rushed to hospital via emergency run. Officers located evidence of gunfire in or around the car he was driving. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital. He has been identified as Jamal James, 27, of Toronto.
