On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 3:01 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received multiple calls for a shooting in the Danforth Avenue and Greenwood Avenue area. Officers arrived on scene and located a man who was unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital via emergency run, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital.
