Mental Health Apprehensions
As part of the Phase 2 of the RBDC Strategy, the Service started collecting the officers’ perceptions of an individual’s race for mental health apprehensions in January 2021.
The Service has continued an iterative hypothesis-driven approach to data analysis – generate questions with the CAP, our members and external stakeholders, try to answer when there is data available, and report findings in small batches along the way to keep the public engaged throughout the entire journey.
